Kathie Huddleston

Sometimes my process starts with an obsession about a shape I can’t get out of my mind. Sometimes the paint tells me what shape it wants to take, what color and textural combinations might work, and how it wants to be laid out. I want my pieces to flow organically as if sprouting directly from nature. My goal is to take what starts as messy inspiration and refine it into something beautiful.
