Anthony’s work stems from anthropological / ethnographical investigations using material culture objects and methodologies.
His most recent series, “Evidence of Her Past” series utilizes litter, specifically hair extensions, as a contemporary artifact which is meant to suggest objects perceived as insignificant to be future representations of culture and is featured in our May 2018 exhibition, CounterCulture: Hidden Stories of Chicago Past and Present.
